Engagement

It wasn't five minutes after I asked Brooke to join me in marriage that this street musician came up to us on the Rose Kennedy Greenway and began to play.

I was as surprised as my fiancee, but I did my best to play it off like it had all been arranged. As if eating take-out penne sorrentina (with one meatball) at the edge of our beautiful city weren't enough.

What do you think about a Spring wedding?

Congratulations and as I'm sure you know..there is a difference between a celebration of a marriage and a wedding. Meaning..a celebration of a marriage and a BIG ass party to have a big ass party are not that same thing..as I know you know. What ever you and Brooke decide to do will be just perfect.

Congratulations from Kansas City! Invite me to your wedding so that I have an excuse to get out to Boston. I'm a very good gift giver.

hooray, hooray for the couple! I'm happy for you two.

Spring is a fine time for a wedding but if you're like me you'll want to hurry and get started with living life as a married couple and you may find yourself wishing for a summer/fall wedding.

Thanks, Everybody! We're really excited.

And our wedding is going to be a little non-traditional in that the guest list is more of an application process in which gift-giving will be the heaviest weighed factor. Nobody's seat is guaranteed. So, Mom . . . Dad . . . I'm really hoping you guys make the right decision. It will be hard for me to imagine the wedding without you guys there.

Much love to you all,
Channing
