Dad put a roast on the smoker 20 minutes ago. That's mom's "secret rub" you see on there. At least that's what dad says. I think it's actually McCormick's "secret rub".

In five hours this little guy will come out, and I will eat him.

Dice-K Does Fenway

Although it wasn't the Matsuzaka Fenway-debut everyone was looking for, there was a tremendous amount of excitement in the air. People were wearing Dice-K rising sun headbands and fuzzy dice around their necks. Dunkin' Donuts had a billboard entirely in Japanese on the outfield wall.

While waiting in line a guy behind me pointed to some "Chinese" characters on a sign outside the park. The guy with him said, "That's Japanese, man. You know, there IS a difference."

Monitoring: Concord Nights Edition

After learning a lot in the office, I hung out with Lori, Preston, Andrew and Mel out on the town. This was my first night away from housesitting the poodles since January 17. I needed a night away. And it was great spending it with the Monitor crew.
